A 35-year-old woman whose partner was involved in a rooftop stand-off with police shouted a warning about people coming to get him which had a racial element.
Blackburn magistrates heard members of the Asian community were upset by the comments made by Sarah Jane McCullion who was arrested.
McCullion, 35, of Infirmary Street, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to racially aggravated threatening behaviour. She was fined £120 with £85 costs and £35 victim surcharge.
Alex Mann said McCullion's partner was on a rooftop throwing slates at police officers and a crowd had gathered.
"The defendant was repeatedly shouting up at him and police were telling her to move away," said Mrs Mann. "She made a racist comment about people coming through the loft to get him."
Damien Pickup, defending, said his client had apologised immediately she made the comments.
