AN Elvis impersonator will be setting an athlete on the road to success this weekend at a fundraising concert.
Lynn Hindle, 38, will compete in the prestigious 2007 World Transplant Games in Thailand in August, but still needs to raise funds to get there.
In Bangkok she will be taking part in the 400m, 800m, 1500m and mini marathon.
Lynn, of the Redlam area of Blackburn, was given a new kidney four years ago after suffering illness and needing dialysis.
The event, featuring Elvis impersonator Steve King (pictured with Lynn), starts at 7.30pm at the Furthergate Working Men's Club on Saturday.
