ROSSENDALE and Darwen MP Jake Berry has raised the problem of television reception in the House of Commons.
Hundreds of homes can only receive 15 free-to-air channels, instead of the usual 40.
Mr Berry said during the debate: "Areas served by relay transmitters, such as Darwen, Whitewell, Newchurch, Bacup and Whitworth, receive about 15 Freeview channels, while those served by a main transmitter receive up to 40.
"Before switchover is complete, will the Minister confirm whether he has any plans to deal with this digital deprivation?"
