ACADEMY defender Eddie Nolan will enjoy the 'craic' at Brockhall this week after getting one over his team-mate Tony Kane.
Nolan and Kane went head-to-head on the international stage when the Republic of Ireland met Northern Ireland in a UEFA U19 Championship qualifier last weekend.
And it was Nolan and the Republic who came out on top thanks to their 2-1 victory in Cork.
There was some consolation for Kane, though, as it was his cross which led to Northern Ireland's goal.
Also away on international duty this past week were Joe Garner (England under 19s), Bryan Hodge (Scotland under 19s) and Academy player Kevin Pezzoni.
Pezzoni played two games for Germany's under 17s, who beat the Faroe Islands 4-0 and San Marino 10-0, the Rovers midfielder scoring in the latter.
