YOUNG keeper Andrew Lonergan is one of three players to be offered terms by Preston North End after rising through the centre of excellence.
Lonergan, 15, who has played for England, will join John Bailey and Ricky Mercer on YTS terms beginning at the start of the 2000/2001 season after graduating from the centre.
Lonergan, from Ribbleton, has already starred for the youth team as well as acting as sub for the reserves.
Bailey, an attacking midfielder, has had trials with England and hails from Southport while Mercer has also had trials with England in a bid to capture one of the defensive roles.
Youth team manager Neil McDonald said: "We are delighted to have offered terms to these three youngsters.
