HYNDBURN Council leader peter Britcliffe has welcomed the news that the authority has made the prestigious Sunday Times ‘top 75 places to work in the public sector’ list.
Jayne Earnshaw, the council’s employee of the year, along with payroll manager Sandra Mansfield and Coun Marlene Haworth attended the awards last week where the results where revealed.
Coun Britcliffe said: “I’m delighted that Hyndburn Council has been named as a great place to work.”
Our staff do a fantastic job and it’s great that they have been recognised in this way.”
