WILLIAM Hague, Shadow Foreign Secretary, has visited Pendle as part of a day-long trip to the North West.
The MP arrived at David Fishwick LDV Van and Minibus Sales, North Valley, Byron Road, Colne, at around 4.20pm yesterday.
During a half hour stay at the firm he was accompanied by Andrew Stephenson, prospective Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Pendle.
Mr Hague then made the short trip to the Boundary Mill store, in Vivary Way, at around 4.45pm where he was met by company founder Richard Bannister.
Mr Stephenson then guided Mr Hague as he met staff and shoppers at the retail outlet.
