The Easter holidays are earlier than usual this year so we thought it appropriate to head into the archive and dig out some photos of some Easter celebrations in East Lancashire from the late-90s.
From giant Easter bunnies to bright Easter bonnets, all the trappings of Easter were out in force as folk made the most of the holiday weekend.
These complemented the church services and processions which were held across the area to mark this important date in the Christian church.
Whatever you have got planned this Easter, we hope that you have a good time - just don’t overdo the amount of chocolate!
