Blackburn's Hollin Bridge Street area from the air
An interesting aerial photo giving us an unusual view over part of Blackburn, but do you recognise it?
The Leeds-Liverpool Canal and railway line can both be clearly seen in this photo which we think dates to around 1991.
In the bottom right of the photo a new Kwik Save supermarket is taking shape which probably will help you identify the photo as showing the Hollin Bridge Street area of the town.
The supermarket site off Bolton Road is now occupied by apartments.
