The fire broke out just after 7.45pm on Tuesday at Sterling Automotive Design on Croft Head Road.
Six fire engines were called to the blaze at Whitebirk Industrial Estate.
Firefighters remain on the scene, and have yet to confirm how or why the fire started.
One fire engine is still at the scene as the investigation continues. A helicopter was seen circulating the area to assess the damage on Wednesday.
The road to the site is closed but firefighters are letting trucks through to the industrial estate.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "At this current time, firefighters are still at the incident monitoring for hotspots and damping down at the scene.
"Crews will remain on scene for at least the remainder of the day as they continue monitoring hotspots and damping down at the scene. A fire investigation is also under way to determine a cause."
Anyone who could smell smoke was urged to close windows and doors on Tuesday evening.
Crews spent the night monitoring and extinguishing hotspots, however the fire was brought under control in around three hours.
The fire service's drone was in attendance and people were asked not to fly drones in the area as it may obstruct emergency operations.
Just before 11pm, the incident had been reduced to four fire engines and one aerial ladder. platform. At 8am, the incident was reduced to two fire engines.
There are no reports on any injuries.
Two road closures - Croft Head Road at its junction with Philips Road, and Cunliffe Road at its junction with Croft Head Road - are in place due to the ongoing fires.
Last night, Blackburn with Darwen Roads said these closures are expected to remain in place into the morning (October 4).
