Two fire engines were called to a vehicle fire on the M65 near Burnley this evening.
Engines from Burnley and Hyndburn were called to the blaze between junction 10 and junction 9 on the westbound carriageway shortly after 6.30pm on Thursday.
Crews were in attendance for around 40 minutes and used one hose reel to put out the fire.
A fire service spokesperson said: "Two fire engines from Burnley and Hyndburn attended a vehicle fire on the M65 west between junction 10 and 9.
"Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
"Crews were in attendance for 40 minutes."
