Three fire engines were called to a vehicle fire on the M65, near Blackburn, today (February 16).
The fire service was called at around 7.05am to reports of a vehicle fire.
Three fire engines from Blackburn and Hyndburn attended the fire between J6 and J5 of the M65 westbound motorway.
Fire crews used one breathing apparatus and one hose reel to put the fire out.
Crews spent around 30 minutes tackling the blaze.
A fire and rescue spokesperson said: “At 7.25am on February 16, three fire engines from Blackburn and Hyndburn attended a vehicle fire between J06 and J05 of the M65 westbound motorway.
“The incident involved one vehicle. Firefighters used one breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for half an hour.”
