A person has been taken to hospital following a vehicle fire in Lower Darwen
The fire service was called to Delphinium Way at around 2.35pm today (February 14).
One fire engine attended the vehicle fire and firefighters used one hose reel and one breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
One person was taken to hospital and fire crews spent two and a half hours fighting the blaze.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 2.35 on February 14, one fire engine from Blackburn attended a vehicle fire on Delphinium Way, Blackburn.
“Firefighters used one hose reel and one breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
“One casualty was conveyed to the hospital by paramedics. Crews were at the incident for two and a half hours.”
The North West Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
