The body of a man has been found on a Lancashire estate.
Police were called to the Ridge Estate in Lancaster earlier this morning (Sunday, February 5) after receiving reprots that a man had been found collapsed.
Emergency services attended but the man, in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for the police said: "We were called at 7am today (February 5) to Patterdale Road, Lancaster, to reports that a man had been found collapsed in the street.
"Sadly, a man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this sad time.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed to the coroner."
