A man in his 30s has died after being found unresponsive on a high street.
Police were called by the ambulance service at 3.23am today (June 22) after a man was found unresponsive in Church Street in Preston city centre.
He was taken to Royal Preston Hospital where he later died. The death is being treated as unexplained.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: “We attended an incident following a call at 3.13am.
“We took a patient to hospital.”
A spokesperson for the police said: “We were called by the North West Ambulance Service to Church Street, Preston, at 3.23am today (June 22) to reports a man in his 30s had been found unresponsive outside.
“The man was taken to Royal Preston Hospital where he was sadly pronounced deceased. His death is currently being treated as unexplained.”
Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting log 115 of June 22.
