A FIRE broke out at a derelict pub last night.
Firefighters received a call at around 8.15pm on Friday June 11 that the site of the Adelphi Pub on Station Road, Burnley had caught fire.
Three fire engines from Burnley and Accrington stations arrived on the scene shortly after where they found the roof of the building ablaze.
They were able to tackle the fire using three pumps and an aerial ladder platform.
Firefighters remained at the scene until 1.30am on Saturday morning.
The area remains cordoned off and investigators are as yet unsure what started the blaze.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
