AN iconic backdrop in East Lancashire has taken its turn in the spotlight once again on the small screen.
Burnley's Queen Street Mill was one setting picked out by location scouts for the BBC's all-star festive blockbuster, A Christmas Carol.
The historic venue, the only existing steam-powered weaving mill in the world, was deployed as Ebenezer Scrooge is taken back by The Ghost of Christmas Past.
Scrooge was played by ex-Neighbours actor Guy Pearce and The Ghost by Andy Serkis in the three-parter, which is still on the iPlayer.
Today the mill, which opened in 1894, operates part-time as a museum, run by Lancashire County Council. Hollywood came calling in 2011, when The King's Speech had a scene there and it has also featured in the BBC's North & South and Life on Mars.
