A fire engine
A LORRY caught fire last night on a major route.
The heavy goods vehicle was found well alight near a sandwich van when firefighters arrived at the scene on the Padiham bypass.
Firefighters from Padiham and Nelson use one hose reel and a triple extension ladder to put out the fire which broke out at around 11.45pm on Monday (September 3).
They were in attendance for around 50 minutes.
Nobody was injured.
An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
