A BODY has been pulled from a canal.
The body of a man was found in the Leeds and Liverpool canal on New Years Day.
A police spokesman said the man was discovered by a dog walker shortly after 10am near Barrowford Top Lock in Colne Road, Colne.
The spokesman said: "A man has been found in the canal, the circumstances are not thought to be suspicious.
"The next of kin have been informed and a post mortem will take place in due course."
