FIREFIGHTERS tackled a barn fire at a Bacup farm in the early hours of this morning.
Two crews from Burnley and two from Bacup attended the blaze at Higher Deerplay Farm on Burnley Road, Bacup after being alerted at 5.01am.

Firefighters were alerted to the scene by an eagle-eyed neighbour who spotted smoke coming from the barn.
Crews extinguished the fire in the 15m by 10m barn and managed to stop it spreading to an adjoining home.
They used breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and two ventilation units to prevent the fire spreading and extinguish it.

Crews remained on scene for around one hour.
No-one was injured in the blaze. There was some damage to wooden logs and equipment in the barn.
Firefighters are treating it as accidental.
