FIREFIGHTERS were called to a car fire in Colne town centre this morning.
A red Fiat Punto was engulfed in flames as two crews from Colne arrived at the scene in Market Street.
A fire spokesman said the fire service were called at 8.51am and no-one was in the car before the fire started.

He said there were no casualties and the cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
It is believed to be accidental.
He said: “As it was a built up area it is fortunate that there were no casualties.
“We advise everyone to keep back from the fire at all costs and remain at a safe distance until the firemen have done their job and extinguished the fire.
“We see people using their smart phones to take pictures and video but they need to remain away from the fire.
“Always dial 999 when you see an emergency.”
