A MAN has been airlifted to hospital after his car flipped on to its roof near Clitheroe.
Firefighters had to cut the man free from his car following the crash on the A59 between Worston and Sawley at around 10.30am this morning.

The man, who is in his 40s. has been taken to Royal Preston Hospital by the North West Air Ambulance with abdomen injuries.
Firefighters from Clitheroe and Barnoldswick Stations were called out to the incident by the ambulance service to reports that a car had flipped on to its roof.
Firefighters used hydraulic tools to cut the man free from the car and he was being put into a helicopter by 11.25am.
Police said no other vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened under the bridge to Downham.
A spokesman for the ambulance service confirmed that a single patient in their 40s had been airlifted to hospital with abdominal injuries.
