PROPOSALS to build a new DIY store in Clitheroe have been approved following an appeal by developers, it was annouced today.
Homebase appealed against Ribble Valley Council's decision to refuse planning permission at the site in Queensway at the junction of Wilkin Bridge and Highfield Road.
Ribble Valley quashed the original plans in February 2006 but the decision was reversed following a public inquiry by the Planning Inspectorate held across five days in February and March this year.
