A Darwen pensioner has found a potato shaped like a chicken.
Mrs Mona Turner, 78, was surprised to find the odd shaped spud when she was making her Saturday night dinner.

Mrs Turner said: "I got this potato out of the bag and I thought, I can't cook that, it's a bird."
The bizarre 'tater' has a clearly defined beak, wings and even little feet. The more creative viewer might even be able to spot speckled feathers.
Unusually shaped fruit and veg have long been celebrated on British TV in programmes such as 'Blackadder' and 'That's Life'.
It is thought that mishapen fruit and veg are usually caused by environmental issues or damage to the plant when in its embryonic stage.
An attempt to ban the sale of mishapen fruit and veg by the EU was defeated in 2010.
