Mystery as spoons go missing at Darwen school
KITCHEN staff at St Peter's Primary School in Turncroft Road, Darwen, are trying to solve the riddle of the missing spoons.
According to the school, catering manager Laura Marrs ordered 200 new spoons at the start of the school year, but only 135 are left.

A school spokeswoman said: "Children often borrow spoons for packed lunches. Please check your child's lunch box each day and return any school cutlery."
