A man has been charged after he was found with almost 10kg of cannabis inside a suitcase.
County Lines taskforce officers made the discovery when carrying out a stop and search at Preston railway station.
The man was found to have 9.25kg of the drug with him.
He was charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply and appeared in court yesterday, April 19.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "County Lines taskforce officers carried out a stop and search on a male at Preston station.
"He was found to have 9.25kg of cannabis in his suitcase.
"[He was] charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply and remanded in custody for court."
British Transport Police have been contacted for further details.
