Two women have been airlifted to hospital after a crash in Burnley this morning, Sunday.
Crown Point Road was closed in both directions between Burnley Road and Woodplumpton Road while police deal with the incident.
The females were passengers in a BMW. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The driver of the BMW has been arrested, police have said.
A male passenger also suffered minor injuries.
The road reopened at around 2pm.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: "We were called to Crown Point Road, Burnley, at 8.34am today (May 12) following reports of a single-vehicle collision.
"Two female passengers of a BMW have been airlifted to hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. A male passenger suffered minor injuries.
"The driver of the BMW has been arrested.
"A road closure remains in place at this time.
"Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting log 389 of May 12, 2024."
